Finding the Right Cruise Line
9. December 2008
Helen Palmer
If you are looking for cruise line that sails around the world, you have a number of options to choose from. Most of them have the best comfort and highest standards among lines. You’ll see that some of the companies are known only in the specific places that they visit the most, whereas others are known all over the world. All of these lines provide such a great experience that you never forget what a great time you had.
If you are mostly interested in visiting different places around the United States, than you might like the American Cruise Lines the best. These companies are enjoyed because of the interesting places that you get to explore on the coastline of the United States and the small islands that you’ll get to visit. The guides on the lines are well-read and can tell you all about the history and nature of each place you visit. If you choose one of the smaller ships to go on, you will get to experience a more intimate vacation that provides great comfort.
Another well-known cruise line is the Cunard Line. This company gives you a quieter experience as it travels farther out into the ocean. You’ll definitely feel like you are away from it all out on thier ships. Among the ships for the Cunard Line is the famous Queen Mary II. This ship has been called The Most Famous Ocean Liner in the World due to its beauty and luxury crossings. Other things that make this ship stand out are that it is the tallest, largest, and most expensive cruise liner in the world.
Fun Cruise Lines
There are some lines that really appeal to families. Companies like Disney and Princess are well-known for their fun, family atmosphere. These cruise lines have all types of activities to appeal to all personalities and interests. The Disney Line is owned by Disney and it sails to the Bahamas. When you get a vacation package through Disney, you also get a chance to stay at the Walt Disney Resort. This is a great way to extend your vacation or set you up for two separate ones.
Princess has destinations around the world that it travels to. They have fifteen ships and each has a different location that it goes to. Each ship also has different lengths so that it can work for both people who want a long vacation and for those who want a short one. The Princess allow people to have a vacation that is specialized to them, because you can pick your dining, entertainment, and other services. Although this company travels to most countries around the world, it has its strongest presence in the United States.
The previously mentioned cruise lines are only a sample of the many cruise lines that travel around the world. Other ones that you may want to look into include Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Coastal Voyage Inc., Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Time to Review the Products, Ford
8. December 2008
Helen Palmer
In the United States, it looks like the Ford Motor Company is trying to do all the best things it can so that it would be back as the number one US auto manufacturer. And one of the things that the company is doing is to actually make a review of all the products and brands that it is sending out in the market. And yes, it does not matter if it is the smallest Ford car part to the largest luxury brand that the company has.
This piece of news is according to what Alan Mulally announced a couple of days back. Mulally is the current chief executive for the company’s operations in the North America. He does even further say that Ford will also “look at the entire product portfolio, at the investment decisions, to make the entire portfolio productive”. Perhaps, it looks as if the company has already been taking into consideration those analyses made by experts in the industry. After all, it looks like the company has got not much to lose especially right after it has announced that it has lost some $5.8 billion in the third quarter of 2006 alone. Indeed, if you were at the losing, you would most certainly be doing things that you never thought would be doing just so as to be able to bring back the winnings and the glory to your end.
If you do distinctly remember, the Ford Motor Company has previously been receiving some criticisms from experts. One of these is that the company has not been able to keep up with what the consumers are looking for. In fact, the company’s vehicle line up seems to be slowly moving and some of the not so popular vehicle models are still being produced. In this process, the company has got too many products to offer and the consumers are just getting confused and have started focusing on newer brands that offer newer products.
But it sure does look like the times have changed and the auto giant has started listening to what the industry is saying. Mulally does back this up by saying, “We look at the metrics of the business environment, travel, GDP growth, new housing starts, economy. Then we move to our strategy and then we move to the plan, which includes most of the elements of the income statement and the balance sheet.”

Rv Sales Rise Later in the Year
6. December 2008
Helen Palmer
Although the summer RV travel season is over, RV sales are still on the rise. The RV sales show season is now beginning, and more people are buying RVs then ever before. With more baby boomers hitting retirement, they are buying RVs for luxury retirement travel.
RV shows demonstrate all of the new RVs going onto the RV sales market for the next year to interested buyers as well as RV franchise representatives. RVs have become quite luxurious.
Because RVs are luxury items the price can vary anywhere from $50,000 to more over a million dollars depending on what amenities they include. RV sales and the RV franchise industry are considered barometers for the American sales economy in general. The RV industry is often out in front of American economic trends because it deals with disposable income.
Last year was an extremely good year for RV sales. This year RV sales were a little slower than last year, but they started picking up over the summer and into the fall. RV sales are not letting up as the RV off-season begins; next year should be really strong for RV sales.
RV industry analysts claim that more RV’s were shipped out in the first half of 2006 than any other time in the past 30 years. A rise in RV sales also impact gas pump sales as well. When gas prices started rising quickly earlier in the year, it slowed down RV sales for a few weeks. While RVs do take a lot of gas, you’re getting so much enjoyment out of the RV that it is worth it.

Wealthtv Recognizes Six Most Luxurious Vehicles
4. December 2008
Helen Palmer
In connection with the ongoing Chicago Auto Show, six luxury vehicles were recognized by WealthTV, the leading lifestyle and entertainment network. At the start of the auto show, the lifestyle network announced the winner on their online poll conducted over a span of three months prior to the auto show.
There are six categories on the poll conducted by WealthTV which started last November 2006. The award shows how much a luxury car has ingrained itself in the hearts and minds of the networkâ??s viewers. This year, the brands Lexus, Bentley, Range Rover, Aston Martin and Chevrolet are the recipients of the prestigious Viewerâ??s Choice Award which is made from crystal.
Lexus won two of the six categories and this shows how far the Toyota luxury brand has come in their 20 years in the luxury car market. The Lexus LS460 continues to earn accolade by winning the Most Exciting New Release of 2007award. This puts the Lexus LS560 in a position to be a serious threat to its competitor in their class. Another Lexus model to bag an award is the Lexus GS Hybrid which won the Most Advanced Use of Hybrid Technology of 2007 category. This may not come as a surprise since its parent company is producing the most popular hybrid electric vehicle in the US - the Toyota Prius.
The Chevrolet Corvette was voted as the Hottest Sports Car Under $50k of 2007. The Corvette incidentally is making noise also in the Chicago Auto Show where two special edition versions of the model will be sold in limited quantities.
The three categories left were won by vehicles from the brands Range Rover, Bentley, and Aston Martin. In the Most Luxurious SUV of 2007 category, the Range Rover came out on top boosting the moral of DaimlerChrysler. WealthTV viewers voted the Bentley Continental Flying Spur as the Most Luxurious Sedan of 2007. Topping the list as the Hottest Sports Car (with no price limit) of 2007 is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The awards given to all those vehicles will be a big help in their marketing.
Robert Herring Sr., chief executive officer of WealthTV emphasized the magnitude of the award given in his statement. â??WealthTV continues its tradition of allowing our viewers to determine the most exciting luxury automobiles in each category for the year. Recognition by the hearts and minds of the luxury car enthusiasts is the best recognition an automotive company can receive.â? Joe McDonald, the producer of wealth on Wheels where the winning cars will be featured believes that the consumers ultimately judges what the best cars are making their award more meaningful to win and a better reflection on the sentiments of automotive enthusiasts.
The said lifestyle network will air the highlights of the Chicago Auto Show on their Wealth on Wheels series. The cars that won the prestigious awards will be featured on the said show. Aside from being featured in the said series, winners were also given a hundred thousand dollars worth of airtime in advertisement space on the lifestyle network. The Wealth on Wheels series focuses in the latest trends in technology, luxury and speed on the road. The series allows viewers to see what it is like to be in an auto show, in a factory of luxury cars, and it also lets them know what industry experts think via their in-depth interviews.
WealthTV is a lifestyle network that gives its viewers informative shows which tackles what every person in America dreams of. They cover a wide array of subjects related to luxury like travel secrets and, fast and flashy cars that would need EBC Redstuff brake parts to stop them.

Affiliate Marketing Comes to the Vacation Rental Business
2. December 2008
Helen Palmer
Vacation Rental Property Manager’s are always trying to find new ways to bring in more guests and increase revenue. Some offer discounts during slow times, some offer additional amenities such as complementary beach chairs, a typical offer from beachfront property in Florida, or other inducements to distinguish thier property from others.
In the highly competitive vacation rental market everyone is scrambling to find more ways to entice guests. A small company in Missouri is adding a new twist to vacation rental marketing, an affiliate program.
While affiliate programs are not uncommon in the internet world they are not a widely used marketing strategy in the travel business. In the travel business you have licensed travel agents making commissions on lodging, airline tickets and car rental. With the development of affiliate programs anyone can now make a commission by referring guests to a particular lodging facility.
The ultimate word of mouth advertising campaign. Only this time you get paid for telling someone about the great place you stayed at last summer. Estates Sales & Property Management in Osage Beach, Missouri has jumped into the affiliate travel market with their new Travel Affiliate Program. The company offers Luxury Lodging in Tan-Tar-A Estates for individuals and groups coming to the Lake of the Ozarks.
With the new program Affiliates earn a 10% commission on all reservations generated by their marketing and referral’s. This is a great way for individuals, school groups, charities, or fund raisers to generate funds.
Estates Sales & Property Management is known for its innovative cutting edge ideas for vacation rental marketing. This is a first for property managers at the Lake of the Ozarks. “We have a great product at a great price here at the Lake and we wanted to expose more people to what we have to offer” stated Tiffhany Duncanson, rental manager. “We are really a hidden gem as far as vacation rentals and family lodging. We have hotel type rooms, suites, and luxury hot tub suites along with entire homes available for nightly or weekly rentals, giving small or large families a lot of choices”.
The company expects to see schools and other groups utilizing the fund raising possibilities of the affiliate program. With the new laws in place not allowing schools to sell candy or similar items as fund raisers it forces PTA and other school groups to find other means to generate much needed funds. With a 10% commission this program may explode the exposure of Tan-Tar-A Estates. Other property managers will be quick to develop their own programs to capitalize on the ever increasing vacation rental market.
Who is the real winner with a program like this? The consumer. When a company is willing to give back 10% of their gross income to individuals, schools, charities, or other groups it is good for all involved. Some will use the program to simply get a 10% discount on their lodging but really it makes no difference to the company offering the program. Someone has stayed in their rental unit.

Corporate Gift Giving for a Small Business Budget - A.k.a. Do-it-yourself Gift Giving
30. November 2008
Helen Palmer
You are familiar with the Tiffany Watches, the Golf Weekend Gataways, the Private Chef dinners among other rewards that Fortune 1000 companies can afford to giveaway to their sales teams, clients and employees.
Now become familiar with the luxury items you can provide your associates and customers on a budget and with the same return on your investment. The BargainPrinting.com team recently participated in the New York Incentive Show, and collected a long list of wonderful ideas that inspired us so that you can implement on any company size that provide the most perceived value and return on the investment for the least cost. up
1. Forget about impersonal gift cards and gift certificates, and start issuing your own personal gift card that can be redeemd on hundreds of stores nationwide. Using the web to purchase giftcards, you will be provided a unique giftcard code that is needed for purchases. Include the code on custom card and give them away. Print your own cards - a 4 x 6 double sided colorful card would do, include your message, your logo, your pitch, and send it as a reward. This card is cash, and it is certainly not going to be thrown away.
2. Create your own mini catalog, and establish a simple points program, to encourage employees to participate in meetings, reward them for exceptional performance and show a high degree of professionalism to prospect associates. Add services from local businesses that might be willing to offer you a discount and add them as rewards for your catalog. A 6 x 6 8 page booklet could work miracles. For example, local spas might be only charging you $75 for a $120 facial if taken between Monday-Thursday. Reward an employee with a 9am-4pm workday, followed by an hour of facial. The perceived value will be much higher than the actual cost and the productivity levels of the rewarded employees for the weeks and months to come are priceless.
3. Come up with your own Travel Retreats concept and prolong the effectiveness of your reward. If for example you cannot afford to reward your sales force with expensive week long, all inclusive trips to Hawaii , you might choose to offer a romantic weekend gateaway. Contact hotels in your area for offers, and present it in a grand way that will be for ever memorable. Send a car for pick up, and orchestrate a romantic picnic instead of an expensive dinner. A picnic basket can be sent to the hotel in advance and the rewarded recipient gets to keep it as a souvenir.
4. Offering an experience instead of simply giving a single gift item is always very welcome and more memorable. You can accomplish that with our breaking the bank. With the help of local vendors, you can orchestrate wonderful events such as wine tastings at local wineries, beer tastings in nearby microbreweries, personal shopping experience with local department stores, cooking lessons with a nearby pastry shop or restaurant, etc. Make sure you ask some lifestyle questions and match activities accordingly. Contact local companies with your budget considerations and see who will provide you the most service with the least money. A 4 x 9 rack card questionnaire, might be kept in the office at all times, it will create excitement filling out, before they even receive their reward.
The best of all is that you can do your homework online before contacting the local vendors to negotiate. Once you come up with the ideal program for your company, you can use it over and over again. There is no need to dedicate more of your precious time.

Reasons Why People Choose To Cruise Travel
28. November 2008
Helen Palmer
Why do people choose to go on cruises, instead of booking a plane flight? One thing that attracts people to these large boats and cruises is the food. Not only does a cruise offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, they also offer midnight buffets, afternoon snack buffets, ice cream bars and 24-hour room service! There is a veritable open bar on food. You can eat casually or formally. You can have a large meal or a small meal. You can eat with hundreds of people or privately. Keep in mind, of course, that the quality of the cruise line determines the quality of the food. Also remember that many of the cruise ships are feeding approximately 2000 people 10 meals per day!
A cruise offers everything you could possibly want from a getaway: entertainment, relaxation, great food, and variety. Next time, don’t overlook that great big boat out in the harbor.
Entertainment is another attraction. Most cruise lines run full-scale production shows, have live bands, and/or add other specials for the children. The Disney® Cruise line offers meals with Disney characters and special entertainment geared towards the younger crowd. Floating casinos adorn most cruise ships to the delight of many adults who use this as their evening entertainment. Having activities planned throughout the entire day, some cruise lines are like floating day camps. You can be as active or inactive as you choose to be.
Cruises offer one-stop-shopping. Variety. One flight plus one boat equals lots of different locations. It would be impossible to attempt to visit each port individually outside of a cruise line. It would be very expensive and much too time consuming. There would be no time for fun. Once aboard the ship, you leave only to visit the places of port. No need to pack and unpack. No need for unnecessary travel. On the ship, you have any number of things to keep you entertained while waiting for the next docking.
Carnival® Cruises is great for the first time cruiser. It has many departure sites around the country. Land and sea prices are available for those who need to fly to a port of departure. Just a few of the destinations to which Carnival® Cruise Lines will take you include: the Bahamas, Aruba, St. Thomas, St. John, San Juan Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, the Keys, Cozumel, Hawaii, Alaska, Martinique and Barbados.
Celebrity® Cruises is higher-end. It has a sophisticated AquaSpa on board and sports a unique art collection on the Galaxy ship as well. Celebrity® has received a 5-star rating for its cuisine (not food but cuisine). If all of that is not impressive enough, it also includes an in-cabin entertainment and information center.
Radisson® Seven Seas, Seaborn® Cruises and Windstar® Cruises offer even more luxury than the Celebrity® line. The Radisson® offers the ultimate luxurious experience by managing suites only. It also offers unique destinations such as Tahiti, French Polynesia, Antarctica, the Mediterranean, and Europe. The Windstar® line has romantic trimasted ships and sail to the Caribbean, The Americas, the Greek Isles and Europe.
As you can see, there are cruise lines for everyone. These lines are just a few of the many options of cruises. But every line has something which makes it unique, so you might want to do some research to make sure you find the cruise you were looking for.

There’s an old saying that you’ve probably heard before- “When in Rome, do as the Romans do”. The Royal Hotel Paris Champs-Elysees is the perfect “home away from home” for your stay in Paris, and here are just 5 of the many reason for doing so:

5.Location- The Royal Hotel Paris Champs-Elysees truly has an exceptional location in the city of Paris. For just 8 euros, you cn climb to the top of this triumphant arch, 165 feet into the Paris sky. If you’re up for a scenic walk through the city, enjoy the city as you walk to the Louvre. Of course, you may want to take a cab to this world renouned museum to save your energy to view some of the most famous pieces of art to ever grace the world. In the new Richelieu wing, antiques from the Orient, French sculptures and Islamic art collections are just a few of the treasures on display for visitors. Don’t forget to see the masterpieces during your visit, for who could leave the Louvre without seeing the Venus de Milo or Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.

Private Jet Charters - The Finest Way To Travel
24. November 2008
Helen Palmer
Private jet charters, no wonder, offer one of the finest options, which is available for frequent travelers and passengers looking to avoid the slugging formalities of conventional flights. As one would assume, special things come at a special price. Private jet charters are not cheap in any way, but the benefits that they present make it worthwhile of the price.
If we can analyze the factors that contribute the compensation of the price value, the first thing that will come to our mind is the availability of the aircraft to fly in-and-out of almost any airport in the USA. It is pleasantly surprising to know that private jets have access to more than 5,000 airports in the U.S. and Europe! Secondly, the flights are pre-planned and there is no time wasted in clearing the papers, and other formalities. This comes along with the fact that you would have better cabin experience!
There are some sundry items that make private jet charters a luxury. Some of these include making sure that the quality of food is at par with restaurant food; the qualified and trained staff caters to small group of passengers; and most importantly you do not have any stop overs in between destinations, which helps in saving a lot of time.
Services offered to private jet charter travelers
Now that we have briefly considered that some sundry features make private jet charters a luxury for the travelers apart from the main attracting features, we venture to learn more about the special services that are available to travelers who opt for private jet charter services.
The food quality is one of the major points in aviation, and private jet charters have the upper hand in it. Most private jet companies employ favorite chefs cooking the food and maintaining the quality of the food up to the standards of a reputed physical restaurant. The availability of space and food quality make it a pleasure for business travelers to opt for private jet charters.
Business travelers are free to hold meetings within the plane, enjoy time with their families, and prepare for important business proceedings such as seminars, presentations, etc. Time is considered to be most important in any business, and this is what private jet charters help in achieving. This option saves a lot of time.
At the end we can say that private jet charters are a beautiful option available in two modes: you can own a private jet or rent it for your various types of purposes. Private jets do provide ease, security, time-saving, and luxurious options for traveling, whether you want to go for frequent business trips or want to spend some time-off with your family while going on vacations.

Charter Bus Rental Transportation, the Easy Way to Travel
22. November 2008
Helen Palmer
Group outings, whether work related or otherwise, can be somewhat of a transportation nightmare. From a day at the ball park to a corporate retreat, the seemingly impossible task of getting several people to the same location in a timely manner can often cause unnecessary stress for everyone involved. While the problems associated with group transportation continue to plague many distance event planners and participants, several have discovered the comfort and convenience inherent with charter bus service. Charter bus services allow multiple travelers to enjoy the ride, and each other, while someone else keeps an eye on the road. For group outings where alcohol or late night driving is involved, this can certainly be a major selling point. Charter bus drivers are highly regulated, which is why the charter bus industry has an unparalleled safety record compared to other forms of road transportation. Aside from safety concerns, however, charter bus service can also offer multiple benefits that many people are unaware of.
Bus charter companies offer point to point bus service to and from almost any location within their service area. Some even offer multiple pickup and drop off points for added convenience. Depending on budgetary constraints, groups can choose a charter bus with a multitude of amenities, including reclining seats, adjustable foot rests, restrooms, individual reading lights, carry-on storage and more. All charter buses are fully climate-controlled, many with fans or temperature adjustment devices for every seat. Built with heavy duty shocks and automatic suspensions, charter buses offer a superior ride compared to even the finest of luxury automobiles. With all the benefits associated with charter buses, many outing organizers erroneously assume that the price would likely exclude their group from taking advantage of this exceptional service.
In fact, despite offering various amenities, increased safety and affording large groups the enjoyment of traveling together, charter bus service is surprisingly economical. When the costs of driving several automobiles for long distances are added up, charter bus service remains a competitive option. Considering the loss of time associated with multiple stops and waiting for other group members to arrive, it’s no wonder more and more outing organizers are utilizing charter bus services.
The BusBank is a charter bus rental provider in North America
