While Myrtle Beach may be commonly known as a spring break and sports bar kind of place, you can find luxury in Myrtle Beach as well. New first-class luxurious hotels and resorts are popping up all over Myrtle Beach. The Grand Strand is beginning to emerge as a golf and travel destination that won’t be laughed at when described as upscale. The new Myrtle Beach campaign focuses on glamour and the kind of pampered luxury that you would see in Beverly Hills, not the beach.
There are a plethora of luxurious places to spend your money in Myrtle Beach these days. If money is no object, here are a few places in Myrtle Beach that you might want to spend it.
No trip to Myrtle Beach would be complete without some golfing. Some of the higher class Myrtle Beach golf courses include the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, the Love course at Barefoot Resort and the Tidewater Golf Club and Plantation.
The Dunes Golf and Beach Club is more expensive than other Myrtle Beach golf courses, but well worth the price. It’s very well designed and the landscaping is beautiful. The Love course at Barefoot Resort is the top ranked golf course at the Resort. It was also ranked one of the 100 greatest public golf courses of 2006. The Tidewater Golf Club and Plantation is challenging, beautiful and luxurious all at the same time.
If you’d like to reside in luxury in Myrtle Beach, there are many resort hotels located down the Grand Strand. These hotels are located in a close proximity to shopping, entertainment and eating in Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach also boasts some great luxury dining. You can find luxury seafood and steakhouses. The seafood is the best because it is so close to the ocean.

My company has had some meetings there. It's gorgeous!!! I've never stayed there since I live in Myrtle Beach so I can't tell you from my own experience but I have heard very nice things about it. Based on what I've heard - I'd stay there!
