Aruba. It is constantly 85 degrees but not hot because of the constant breeze. It NEVER rains (a plus on a honeymoon) and it's out of the hurricane area so no worries of hurricanes striking during one of the most important times of your life.
It's very safe. I have vacationed solo there and would do so again. It was the best vacation with the beach, sand, constant great weather, friendly islanders and beautiful natural scenery.
If you're into it you can even rent a car or a jeep. If you get a jeep you can go to all the places like the caverns etc and renting a vehicle is cheaper in Aruba then in the USA!

CABO SAN LUCAS!!! LOL I'm sorry but we just fell in love with that place. Me and my hubby got married last april and went to cabo san lucas for a week. It was one of the best times i've had. It was sooo hot, but beautiful and the people there were so nice oh and the food was so fing awesome!! We spent i believe $3.000 for everything (plane, hotel, food, souveniors) We are constantly talking about going back. If you go i suggest Marbella suites. It was so nice and only a few feet from the ocean. Sorry i got all excited

Hawaii. It's not original, but has a special meaning for the both of us. Hawaii and the Hawaiian culture kind of plays a roll in both of our lives.

I am from NJ and currently live in Hawaii due to my husband's military obligations. However in FEBRUARY we were married and still did a complete honeymoon to HAWAII - I recommend one of Norweigen Cruise Lines http://www.ncl.com Hawaiian cruises - the boat is a blast, and the food is terriffic (such a variety), Plus you get to the big island, Maui, and Kaui you can see all the beautiful scenery and do an activity on each island without having to 'CHOOSE' if you just fly to one island. let me know if you'd like more details.

Me and my fiance are trying to plan a trip to Thailand for our honeymoon. We both love asian culture and Thailand is so pretty. (And even though the flight is expensive, everything is MUCH cheaper once you get there!)

We're going to France and Switzerland, which I'm uber-excited about, but I would also like to go to Brazil. Maybe that will be our second honeymoon!

For a honeymoon I would love go to Thailand or a Pacific Island, or to South Africa on a safari. My boyfriend would really like to go to New Zealand.
March 10th, 2009 at 6:00 amOne of the best places I've recently been that would make a great honeymoon spot is Costa Rica. It's rather affordable and there is tons of different stuff to do–or just enjoy the view.
