Finding the Right Cruise Line
If you are looking for cruise line that sails around the world, you have a number of options to choose from. Most of them have the best comfort and highest standards among lines. You’ll see that some of the companies are known only in the specific places that they visit the most, whereas others are known all over the world. All of these lines provide such a great experience that you never forget what a great time you had.
If you are mostly interested in visiting different places around the United States, than you might like the American Cruise Lines the best. These companies are enjoyed because of the interesting places that you get to explore on the coastline of the United States and the small islands that you’ll get to visit. The guides on the lines are well-read and can tell you all about the history and nature of each place you visit. If you choose one of the smaller ships to go on, you will get to experience a more intimate vacation that provides great comfort.
Another well-known cruise line is the Cunard Line. This company gives you a quieter experience as it travels farther out into the ocean. You’ll definitely feel like you are away from it all out on thier ships. Among the ships for the Cunard Line is the famous Queen Mary II. This ship has been called The Most Famous Ocean Liner in the World due to its beauty and luxury crossings. Other things that make this ship stand out are that it is the tallest, largest, and most expensive cruise liner in the world.
Fun Cruise Lines
There are some lines that really appeal to families. Companies like Disney and Princess are well-known for their fun, family atmosphere. These cruise lines have all types of activities to appeal to all personalities and interests. The Disney Line is owned by Disney and it sails to the Bahamas. When you get a vacation package through Disney, you also get a chance to stay at the Walt Disney Resort. This is a great way to extend your vacation or set you up for two separate ones.
Princess has destinations around the world that it travels to. They have fifteen ships and each has a different location that it goes to. Each ship also has different lengths so that it can work for both people who want a long vacation and for those who want a short one. The Princess allow people to have a vacation that is specialized to them, because you can pick your dining, entertainment, and other services. Although this company travels to most countries around the world, it has its strongest presence in the United States.
The previously mentioned cruise lines are only a sample of the many cruise lines that travel around the world. Other ones that you may want to look into include Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Coastal Voyage Inc., Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

A lot of the type of people on a cruise depends where you go and when. If you go on a cruise during the summer, then you will be around a lot of teens and kids. The one exception to this is cruising to Alaska. This was my favorite cruise, but for some reason, family's with teens don't go as often on this cruise. Of course there will be teens and kids, but the majority Of what I say were older adults. The Caribbean and Mexican Riviera are the most popular with teens. Most of the cruise ships have activities just for teens and some have a night club just for them. Princess also has a video game room where lots of teens hang out. I have been on 8 cruises with Princess. Very nice ships.

The family friendly lines are Carnival, Disney, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean.
Teens that are not into Disney might not enjoy a Disney cruise.
Carnival and Norwegian have water slides. Royal Caribbean has rock climbing walls.
Carnival has a club dedicated to teens called Club O2.
Royal Caribbean also has a teen facility; the Living Room for hanging out with other teens and Fuel, which is a teen disco, complete with a soft drink bar.
The best ships for teens are the two newest Voyager class ships (Navigator and Mariner of the Seas) and the three Freedom class ships (Freedom, Liberty and Independence of the Seas - Independence will begin sailing later this year). These five ships are all Royal Caribbean ships.
The advantage of the two newer Voyager class ships for teens is the expanded teen area (when compared to the three older Voyager class ships - Voyager, Explorer and Adventurer of the Seas). The three Freedom class ships also have an expanded teen area.
All five Voyager class ship have (in addition to the teen area, two pools and the rock climbing wall), a miniature golf course, a full sized basketball court, an inline skating track and an ice skating rink. The three Freedom class ships have the same facilities as the Voyager class ships except that instead of an inline skating track the Freedom class ships have the Flowrider, which is a surfing simulator.

Well,
December 9th, 2008 at 9:28 pmYou can always try the Disney Cruise Line. Its for the whole family. Even baby friendly. Its expensive I know, but this would probably be the best option. It travels from Orlando, Florida, to The Bahamas, and then back. Or, if you want to stay in the bahamas, then you ask the ticket giver before you get on the ship what time would the Disney Cruise Ship be coming back if I stayed at the Bahamas for a while? So this is best choice for fun.

The Carnival Cruise I was on seemed to have activities for teens. There was a big room with all kinds of computer games, I remember. There were very oldsters and young families and teens on the ship when we cruised to Nova Scotia.

They are all "senior ships". Carnival is a good choice. They have plenty of activities for children of all ages.
Carnival is the "fun ships" not the "party" ships. All cruises will serve alcohol and have casinos.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN!!! It is a great cruise line for kids and teens and all adults. They have teen dances and stuff but thats not all and you dont have to attend. They have scavenger hunts and the living room area made just to hang out, watch TV or play games! My teens had always had a GREAT time and we are Baptist christians who don't allow dancing and certain music and they still had a BLAST! you dont need parties and dancing to have fun…Royal Caribbean is a great cruise line! And pretty much every ship has at least 20 kids per cruise and most have 60 or more! Every ship has a kid and teen program so no matter what they'll always have something to do!

4 cruises
Carnival is actually a family ship. I've been on it so whoever told you it is a young single ship was wrong. Carnival has a FANTABULOUS teen program.

How would I go about finding a cruise line that is teen-friendly?
December 9th, 2008 at 11:22 pmI hear Carnival is the young, single adult "party" ship. We want to avoid that type of thing as well as the "seniors" ships.
